SEAGLASS VILLAGE BOD MEETING

August 25, 2024

10:00 AM

MINUTES

The Chair called the meeting to order at 10:25 a.m. immediately following the Owners’ Annual Meeting, and a quorum was declared. Board members present: Sandra Weymouth (in the Chair), Lorraine DeVaux, Judy Moseley, Jerry Schlessel. Board member absent: Larry Abatiell. Staff present was Jim Hoyt, General Manager.

• Motion to allow GM to sign all checks under $2500 passed unanimously.

• Committee reports presented. ARC requested owners to mark trees: orange/pink for request to remove, green for request to trim. Then notify ARC as to where the tree(s) are located so they may review.

• IT Committee reported that the Office 365 conversion was nearing completion. A/V equipment for meetings has been purchased and is being installed. Server rack to move to tech room. Camera has been replaced at the dumpster.

• Rental committee reported that August is at 90% occupancy. There are 18 cottages in the association rental program, 3 are in the independent.

• Sandbar reported being $5K in the red due primarily to reduced attendance on Fridays with lack of events scheduled. Liquor liability being reviewed as it may no longer be included in general liability.

·         Schedule BOD study session for the Ad Hoc Rental Committee recommendations

·         IT Committee to update BOD email group with new BOD members
